Group Overview: We are a group of very Eclectic women who gather together to form a working group for magickal purposes. We range from beginning Wicca, to High Magicks working within the bounds of Kabala, and the Egyptians Mysteries. We also have a few that follow a Native America path. So as you can see we are a very diverse group.
One of our Elder HP's Rowan ViviAnna is from a long line of those who have worked with the Ancient Mysteries for centuries both here in the US and when her family came from Ireland/Scotland in the early 1700's. So what we teach is very wide reaching, and from what we have learned does appeal to many who follow the path of the Wise Mother.
All we ask is those who come to join within our group respect who and what we are; for there is more to a painting than just the colors that are used to create it.
We plan camping trips to the mtn's in Tenn. and locally here in Alabama. We also plan to go to Dragonhills for Moondance in the Spring as a group. Btw just because we are a sisterhood does not mean our men are not welcome we want the entire family to join in. We do have a Brotherhood called Knights of the Black Rose that work with us; they are more of a clan archetype. They plan gaming (card, video, pc, ect...) hunting, fishing trips
I feel picking a teacher is a personal choice, but do be careful their are some that use the heading "Witchcraft Instructor" as a come on to lure young ones. So those of use who have been around the block a few times have to be ever vigilant
****update**** New Classes begin 2/09 so please contact us to make sure you are on our list. There is no cost, you are responsible for your books and all supplies needed. The Only rules we have are be tolerant of others and don't come empty handed... bring soda, chips... something, if your are unsure of what to bring just email us. Since we don't charge a fee for classes we feel this is fair and if everyone brings one thing there is always plenty to go around.
