Group Overview: The Circle of Crow Tradition is hereditary hedge witchery, with a pinch of eastern influence and a heavy flavor of Celtic Shaman Practice. We at the Circle of Crow celebrate a version of the Old Religion originally practiced only within four main families and their extended families. The Old religion and the new pagan religion of Wicca are growing and thriving, comprized of old and young, singles and families, but information is not so easily come by as many would like. Most new comers are self taught from books and articles writen by authors who are well researched and usually practitioning witches themselves. Now self taught is not to be frowned upon, after all, how else will the movement continue, but there are additional ways to glean knowledge. Those whose families gathered and practiced the craft for generations before Dr. Gardner created his neo pagan movement known as Wicca were taught in a formal learning environment, often around the kitchen table or on a weekend visit to grandparents/ in our case with a foundation rooted in practical magic, holistic remedies and a balanced spiritual investment.

We would like to offer interested students of the craft the opportunity to experience our alternative avenue of learning.

What we are:
Circle of Crow represents a collective of like minded souls studying the Old Religion with all its Magiks and Mysteries, in a style that was handed down from parent to child long before forming into a tradition in late 1999, going public shortly after entering the new millenium.

What we are not is a cult of crazies looking to lure the unsuspecting into illicit behavior.

The local gathering of Huntsville, AL was organized and is hosted by a High Priestess who is a member of one of the four main families from the UK.
