Group Overview: We are developing a group of Pagans in the Deep South. Our primary goal is to foster a deep respect for those of us under the Mason Dixon line. As many states already hold individual pages, we were interested in encouraging a larger community. We are not political, tend not to sell or advertise (unless you are a grassroots/mom and pop store) and insist upon a deep level of respect for each other, regardless of Pagan faith or faction. Other goals for our group include:
Sending good energy to each other in times of crisis
Sharing knowledge and traditions
Fostering friendships and alliances among our states
Raising awareness of our Pagan presence within the deep South
Dispelling notions of bigotry, racism and intolerance
Eventually considering the notion of a festival and/or website
Having fun
