Group Overview: The Coven of Danu was formed on Yule of '81 and follows the Mohsian Tradition. This is a blend of Gardnerian, Alexandrian, 1734, Borean and Plant Bran, along with material from other Traditions. Our emphasis is on teaching and living the Craft in a sane and ethical manner. We are part of a larger 'family' of covens, both Mohsian and related Trads, and both locally and nationally. We follow a Traditional structure and welcome people who are serious about the Craft and who wish to honor the Goddess and Her Consort. We are a mixed group and welcome anyone regardless of age, race, gender or sexual orientation. However, people with drug, alcohol or other related emotional issues may wish to look elsewhere since we are very careful in our screening process. Currently we have an Outer Court study group and are looking into starting a set of "Wicca 101" classes as soon as a suitable locale is found.
