Verde Valley Mother Earth Community

Group Overview: We are a Cyber group based in the Verde Valley of North Central Arizona (near Sedona) . We are not a "real life" group at this time, but that possiblity is still open. Since we are "locally based", I welcome and appreciate all posts from folks announcing their sites and groups and local events.
I occasionally receive emails from folks via Witchvox asking when and if we at Verde Valley Mother Earth Community ever hold public events. When my group was new, I tried very hard to get them to meet in a public place so that we might become more than a cyber group. We did actually meet in the park in Cornville twice. The first meeting was fairly successful, the second was a disaster. I also organized a drumming circle, which very few attended, and a couple of other events. When it became apparent that folks did not want to meet in "real life", I discontinued my efforts, and since then we have been a cyber group only, and a fairly inactive one at that. These attempted meetings took place in 2003. Now, my health is much worse and I have no transportation, but I still might attend an event if someone else organized it, during daylight hours, and it was very inexpensive to attend. Oh, I had big dreams at one time, but it was not the right time or place, I guess.
However, I do thank you for your inquiries and suggestions. If you organize something, in the Verde Valley, please let me know. If nothing else I can advertise your event on my group, which is now named "Verde Valley Mother Earth Community".
I changed the name and the focus of this group (from Verde Valley Pagans) last year. We are now encouraging discussions on the following: Simple Living, Frugal Living, Off the Grid Living, Alt Housing, Alt Power, Alt Medical, Recycling, Conservation, Ecology, Recipes, Gardening, Herbalism, Healing, Drumming, Crafting, Nature Based Spirituality, Shamanism, The Craft of the Wise, Kitchen/Hearth/Hedge/Green Witch, and Magick!
