Group Overview: An Teacht de Anann is a Wiccan coven hived from the Coven of Danu in Phoenix, AZ.
We teach and pass the Mohsian tradition as it was passed to us. Our lineage, practice and oaths make us cousins to Gardnerians and Alexandrians, as well as many other traditions which fall under the BTW umbrella. We celebrate the Wheel of the Year, and meet for both full and dark moons. We initiate through a three degree system, passing initiation man to woman and woman to man. As a lineaged coven, we experience the mysteries through traditional methods and focus on our connection to the place in which we live and practice.
An Teacht de Anann was established as a teaching coven of the Mohsian Tradition at Samhain, 2007. Our focus as a teaching coven is based around teaching ethics, methods of self discovery, and living the Craft with integrity. New members are screened based on "fit". This means that not every teacher/coven/tradition is right for every student. We look for a sense of kinship in an applicant, and require that students be able to commit to the traditional minimum of a year and a day of study prior to acceptance into the coven.
Now that An Teacht de Anann is well established, we will not be teaching larger scale ourter court style classes. New members will be trained individually or in pairs. This will allow for individualized training focused on building the group dynamic necessary for effective magic and provide the mentorship necessary to positive magical growth. Those that are interested in the Mohsian Tradition or coven membership are most welcomed to contact us either by email or the postal address below. Seekers will receive an application for training, and upon our review of that application, a face to face meeting will be arranged.
Educators who are looking for speakers on the subject of Wicca and/or Traditional Witchcraft may also feel free to contact us, as we have experience in public speaking for college comparative religion classes among our membersip.
As a BTW coven, we do not charge for our teaching.
