Think of Something Catchy...

Age Range/Type: Family
Located in: Tempe, Arizona

Spiritual Path: Non discriminatory
Status: Group Forming
Community Support: None Offered

Group Overview: Are you bored, lonely, new to the area, or all of the above? Tried of groups that are way too serious and even give you homework? Tired of other groups that give you the stink eye whenever you bring your children? Are you a woman between the ages of 0 and 1000 who would love to meet some other local women and make friends? If so, then keep reading.

I'm a work at home woman with too much free time and not enough social time who is sick and tired of pagan groups being high and mighty, reenactments of Hogwarts, or just listings on witchvox with no real people behind them. I'm pagan, but I can't make things levitate. I celebrate the seasons but don't dress up in a robe and wave a wand. I don't need an athame to feel like a goddess although belly dancing does make me feel sexy... Anyway, I'm tired of never finding a group like me.. a down to earth, spiritual, eco-conscious and feminist babe. So I'm making one! Ta-Da! *poof*

This group is more of a social group than a study group. While I'm sure we will learn from one another, we will not have assigned readings or homework. Any ritual that takes place will be spontaneous and never forced. This group will never make you feel bad for having missed and Esbat. Activities will be whatever we feel like. I'd list ideas here, but I don't want to limit the group in anyway. It will be what it will be.

We will meet near my house (near S. Hardy and W. University) because I live right across from a kick arse playground. I want to be inclusive of all women, and if you have kids and they need to do a little running around...hence the park. AND guess what? We can meet during the day or night! My schedule is wide open. So if you wanna hang out, exercise your little ones if you have em, and make some friends, this is the group for you.

Come one come all!

The membership process: Email me, find each other on Facebook, check your social calendar, then hang out. It's that simple!
