Group Overview: Pagan Homeschooling Network was formed in response to several of my Pagan friends who are homeschooling the child (ren) but were unsure about many aspects of educating their children themselves. I am a certified teacher and formed the group to help Pagans in the Phoenix area and its suburbs to locate assistance with regards to homeschooling and to network with other homeschooling parents.
The main focus of Pagan Homeschooling Network is giving parents and guardians who homeschool the tools to provide the best education for their students. I record a podcast that is free and can be found at our website www.educ8rkids.com. The support of a certified teacher in the homeschool experience is invaluable and can help to run a smooth and productive home learning program.
Many parents/guardians find that homeschooling their child up to about the third grade is quite simple, but the higher grades, especially Jr. High and High School, become quite a challenge. This is where a certified teacher can assist with lesson planning, completex tasks (think Chemistry and Biology as well as higher-level mathematics) , and record keeping. We help you focus on the end goal and give you direction to help your child (ren) to reach their potential.
We also offer a service to match you up with a certified teacher to tutor your child (ren) whether currently homeschooled or in a traditional education environment.*
