Group Overview: The Phoenix area has many Pagan or Pagan-oriented groups...however, the City can be a little far away sometimes! This group is for all of the open-minded, free-spirited, closeted AND openly Pagan individuals in the City of Maricopa!
We have many contacts in the City and so are made aware of larger Pagan-oriented events and goings-on there. This information will be passed along so that those of us who live more Southerly will have the opportunity to connect with Pagans in the City.
We also hope to be able to have small get-togethers and gatherings for feasts and festivals at some point! These will likely start out as get-to-know you gatherings in public places like Seven Cups Coffee one of the other small eating establishments on John Wayne.
We are aware that discrepancy is necessary given the size of our little town in order to avoid any discomfort or danger of losing jobs, etc. So please rest assured that no one in this group will ever force you to come out of your broom closet in a public forum. We want this to be a safe place for like-minded people in the Maricopa area to gather and network with each other!

Note:
I (being Jen, the group organizer) have indicated in our description that we offer Open Circles and Workshops. I have done this because, while there are not currently any such events scheduled, I hope to have some in the near future once our little community gets established. I want to make sure no one feels misled when it comes to this information.
Also, I have indicated that we offer ordained clergy. This will be true in a few months as I am currently studying to be a First Degree Priestess in Correllian Wicca! I will definitely let you all know when I take my final exam!
