Group Overview: A profile? Hm. All right...
We came together to find a path we could all tolerate and quickly decided we were too damn old to get mired in the bulls**t. After monkeying around with a number of traditions, we came into a firm appreciation of the oldest of religions, the indigenous traditions, which have been around with us continuously since the dawn of man.
However, not being raised in the tribes that practice those religions, it would have been inapropriate and wrong to simply copy their ways. Instead we found rituals we could call our own, honoring our 'Elder Brothers' while trying to set ourselves down an enriching spiritual path.
This has been done before; when the tribes came to this continent thousands of years ago, they had to cast aside or modify their own rituals for the shock of the New World.
So we claim simply this. We are charting a new path in a territory as old as our species itself. We are learning to be alive once again.
And we're having a damn good time doing it!
To sing is to pray, to dance is to pray, to laugh is to touch the divine!
