Group Overview: We are an established group and observe the traditional Esbats and Sabbats. We practice ritual as well as earth magic and teach a blend of both. We honor both the Lord and Lady. HOWM has legally ordained clergy as well as offers classes and workshops. Our class structure is designed to put the seeker on the path of initiation. The group was formed in 2002 and began actively working together in 2005. We have members that are active in other traditions as well and encourage learning different paths and techniques. We are similar to your standard traditional order with the degree system and teaching levels. HOWM is currently open and accepting members into our outer court training. We have an emphasis on self-responsibility, self-improvement, and our responsibility to our local community and the environment.
We are only looking for SERIOUS students. Our training is an in depth study in Earth and High Magic, Ritual structure and design, elemental balance, integration of mundane and spiritual, development of your personal power and personal relationship with Divinity. All classes are in person and require active participation. Students can become a member of the order and participate in our rituals. We are seeking to remain structured as a small group basis where deep relationships are forged between members. We offer three different courses for serious seekers in Witchcraft for each building on the previous course. Those with a passing interest in Witchcraft, magic, or Earth-based spirituality are welcome to ask questions, but are not being considered for classes at this time due to the time and commitment that is required of teachers to teach a class. However, serious students are welcome and we are willing to teach a cohort of a maximum of seven students through the Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced classes.
Our Essentials of Witchcraft course covers basic Wicca 101. This includes, holidays, energy, spellcasting, divination, etc.
Ritual Structure and Design covers coven structure, ritual performance and design, guided meditations and much more.
Advanced Witchcraft covers daily spiritual practices, magical systems, lessons for self-improvement, high magic, etc.

Our group works to provide a safe space for spiritual practice and this often limits the amount of public work we can do. However, check out our Event listings for classes and possible open circle opportunities.
