Group Overview: The Kemetic Temple of San Jose is a small group of dedicated ritualists who work with traditional texts in order to honor the Netjeru of ancient Egypt. We work with all of the Netjeru whenever we can have the appropriate texts available for a ritual. We are dedicated to scholarly research, in pursuit of improving our understanding of the ancient Egyptians and their beliefs. We conduct rituals six times a year as well as study sessions on the off months. All of our members come from a wide variety of paths but all feel a strong connection to the Kemetic path. We highly recommend reading Jeremy Naydler’s book "Temple of the Cosmos." The book goes into great detail about the beliefs of the ancient Egyptians as well helping to release a modern western mindset to facilitate the better understanding of Kemetic beliefs.
