Hail Everyone,
My name is Dean, and after my second tour to the sandbox and running two open circles, my wife has convinced me to start one in the civilian world once I return from this deployment. Though this group will not be affiliated with any specific congregation, I am sponsored by The Sacred Wells Congregation to do military open circles.
The group I would like to start would be, at first, just a simple group to meet other like minded Pagans, Wiccans, Druids, Norse, whatever your path maybe. Coming from the military open circle experience I truly love the diversity of an Open Circle, being able to learn from all paths has been a great experience for me.
My goal of the group is to find those just starting on their path and to help guide them and still let them find their own path with the guidance of others... and to also find those who are much more experienced than I and learn and grow from them as well.
First meetings of course will be held either at a public park, Starbucks or something of that sort, so everyone can feel comfortable with one another... then possibly moving gatherings to my house or other member's houses.
What this group will not be is a place to bash Christians, hook up, or be an "Angry Goth Witch". Nothing will be skyclad with this group until/unless we all get to become one close family. If you fit under the "Angry Goth Witch" category, and would like to learn truly what the gaudy pentacle with a dragons head and fake rubies represents... you may join us and hopefully we can clear some things up for you.
