Group Overview: "Behind the Veil" is a teaching and events group relating to the esoteric arts of psychic work, Reiki and energy healing, and magickal arts grounded in Shamanism and mysticism. We will also be putting together a Shamanic Paranormal team for those interested in defensive magickal arts. The purpose of this Paranormal team is to take a spiritual approach to properly diagnosing and dealing with hauntings and entities of various kinds. This goes beyond deciding if ghosts exist, to learning the nature of the various types of spirits, which energy planes they reside in, and what their particular signs, powers and vulnerabilities are, and how to deal with them through magickal and psychic methods.
Magickal training and sabbat rituals are most heavily based in Celtic Shamanism, but includes natural magick from many other cultures, too. Shamanism is an Earth-based spirituality, and the magick is "natural magick", which works with the energies in nature and is more intuitive-based. As we learn to increase our sensitivity to energy and expand our natural abilities to read and work with it, we become deeply connected to the spirit force within and around all of us. When we work with spirit allies, it is cooperative, no coercive. This path will naturally help us to find balance, to heal and overcome past traumas and behavior patterns, to find a deeper connection to Spirit and to ourselves, and will aid us in finding and embracing our true path.
This group is led by a Professional Psychic Medium and Shaman. The purpose of this group is to help members explore, discover and learn how to access and safely use their own unique talents. We create a safe, positive space here for people, and we look forward to having you join us!
