Group Overview: We are a group of Contemporary Pagans practicing a Contemporary Druidry, which we consider a relevant spiritual tradition for living in the 21st century. We are influenced by history, but are not bound to it. We are not reconstructionists as we do not believe in the historical veracity of a continuous pre-Christian pagan religiosity. We are revivalists in the sense that we are reviving, or perhaps re-imagining or re-inventing, the practice of Druidry to provide a relevant spirituality for living in today's world.
We do not adhere to an exclusionary focus on the Indo-Europeans. In fact, the patron deities for this grove are of Canaanite origin; they are Asherah and El. We gladly accept any pantheon or deity from any tradition that resonates with our members. Although our patron deities are Canaanite, we utilize deities and pantheons from every tradition across the world in our ritual and High Days. We encourage our members to adopt those specific deities and pantheons with which they resonate.
We are a non-dogmatic, non-hierarchical organization and, as such, do not require our members to adhere to any specific set of beliefs, ideologies, or dogma. We are affiliated with the following Druid Orders: Ár nDraíocht Féin (ADF) , the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids (OBOD) , and the Ancient Order of Druids in America (AODA) . We highly encourage our members to complete the training program of one of these three orders, although this is not a requirement for affiliation with the grove or participation in its rituals.
