Group Overview: Coven Tir Nathrach is run by Wayne and Shawnee Luke of Lancaster, California. Wayne is a network support technician and Shawnee is a veterinary assistant. Our family has, between us, three children, two dogs, five cats and a turtle. We place great value on spirituality, ethics and family – both in the magical world as well as the mundane. Our path derives from Central Valley Wicca and we have been our own coven for nearly six years now. .
Being a traditional coven, we believe in both a God and a Goddess. Ours is a small coven and we prefer it that way. We feel that an intimate circle is comfortable and helps us work toward our goals as a coven as well as the goals of each of our members. Generally, those who come to us to learn were friends beforehand. Occasionally, we hold public rituals and otherwise participate in the greater community of Pagans which exists within the Antelope Valley, but the tradition we practice is oathbound and our membership private.
