The Owls of the Oak is a newly forming traditional/folk witchcraft coven within San Jose. This is an eclectic circle that takes its cues from many sources, including Shamanism, Paganism, elements of Wicca and whatever else comes naturally. Therefore, we are open to mature men and women of all paths, whether an adept or a novice. However, if you are seeking a purist Wiccan group, you might be best served looking elsewhere.
In this group, we will be learning from one another and with each other in an environment where we all feel comfortable. The Owls of the Oak honor the Lord and Lady, celebrate the Sabbats in accordance with the Wheel of the Year, and Esbats, or the ritual observance of the full moon. Together, we will practice spellwork and divination etc.
