Group Overview: Circle of Crow - a tradition based in heredity Hedge Witchery, with a pinch of eastern influence and a flavor of native Shaman practice. Circle of Crow is a tradition over 200 years old (actual proven written documentation) that was brought to the USA in CYOR 1999. There are numerous gatherings throughout Europe and the United States. The Ravenswilde Gathering was founded in CYOR 2008, meets (at a minimum) for classes on Sundays 2 to 3 times a month, at all Wheel of the Year Festivals, quarterly for Full Moon Celebrations and on other various occasions for specific rituals and practicals.
We consider ourselves, a collective of like minded souls, studying the Old Religion with all its Majic and Mystery in this tradition known as “Circle of Crow”
This tradition came out of the U.K., first to Europe, then on to the United States. Circle of Crow evolved from a Druidic/Celtic foundation. Although similar to Wicca in many ways, we are actually a denomination of the Old Religion and not a tradition of Wicca, enjoying practitioners in their eighties and nineties who were taught by their parents and whose parents taught them.
