Group Overview: A group of like-minded individuals sharing the same beliefs and philosophies regarding witchcraft, Wicca, Paganism, Herbalism and other Earth-Based and Methaphysical Topics. Designed primarily for adults who have chosen an eclectic approach to their studies. Colorado Springs Witches is a group hoping to bring together long-time practitioners and those new to the path so that they might share their wisdom with each other and make new friends.
Study Group:
CSW holds one basic and one advanced study group a month, in which we discuss important topics that are relevant to our studies as Witches. Our topics range from basic principles (Sabbats, Esbats, Deity, Wheel of the Year) to advanced (Herbalism, Spellcraft, Meditation, Divination) based on the needs and desires of the study group. Our study groups usually take on a open discussion format, so please feel free to bring any relevant information, books, internet material, handouts, etc to study groups. All materials from past study groups are stored on the Meetup website under the ?files? section for your convenience. Please feel free to add any information to that section that you feel might assist future members as well.
Social Events/Activities
In addition to study groups, CSW holds one Social Event on the months in which there is a Sabbat to celebrate. Depending on the Sabbat, we have picnics, cookouts, or other festivities. Other events such as drum circles, parties, open rituals, tarot and palm reading nights, storytelling, etc are all part of some of the things we do for fun as well
Group Practice
CSW is a Study/Social group intended for all Pagans, Wiccans and Witches, whether they have chosen a solitary path or belong to a coven, an occasionally have open, eclectic circles suitable for all Pagan Traditions.
