Circle of the Mountain Fire

Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Key Contact: Bill

Spiritual Path: Correllian Nativist Wicca
Status: Group Forming
Community Support: Open Circles... Teaching Available

Group Overview: I am a candidate for my Third Degree in the Correllian Nativist Tradition of Wicca. I am proposing the formation of a Correllian-specific study group/coven/proto-temple (the Circle of the Mountain Fire) to study for the three degrees and for ritual and socialization purposes. This is a re-formation of the old Circle of the Mountain Fire with a focus rooted firmly in a specific Tradition!

In order to make this work, I am asserting the need for:

[1] Face-to-face training in real time in the ideas and philosophies of Wicca

[2] Training in various psychic exercises

[3] Training in ritual construction and performance/working

[4] Actual projects and examinations to ensure appropriate knowledge of covered materials

[5] Working as a group for ritual purposes, spell work, and social gatherings

[6] Training in divination techniques

Be sure to click the group's link for more information and for contact information!

Remember, this is to be a CORRELLIAN group and not an eclectic group! Correllian Wicca is a blended path that blends aspects of traditional Wicca with the more "native" practices of the Stregha (the lineage of the majority of the High Priest/esses of this Tradition include Charles Leland Godfrey, for example, and the Native American ancestry of the Tradition's Founders) . As it is a blended path of Wicca, people are invited to bring with them some of the spiritual aspects that they especially value--including aspects of Judaism and Christianity--to be incorporated in the coven's ritual work.

The Circle of the Mountain Fire was initially formed on Winter Solstice 1997 as an eclectic coven and study group. Since that time, members have moved to other parts of the country and other members have left to form their own groups. The coven has not existed since 2001, but the original founder is seeking to reform the coven within the framework of the Correllian Nativist Wiccan Tradition.

If you are looking for [a] a coven experience and [b] working within the structure of a defined Tradition, please visit the homepage link below and drop a line!
