We are an eclectic public open-air Earth Spiritual Worship Space, NO-KILL Rescue and Sanctuary in the beautiful Rocky Mountains. We have a Sacred Circle and Prayer Pole available to all who wish to Dance or Pray. We have Healers, Witches and ordained Pagan clergy on-site 24 hours a day to help ALL CREATURES. The Dog Tribe and the Horse Tribe meet! Operating in conjunction with Heaven's Gateway Horse Rescue, a Native Spiritual Horse Rescue, The Heart of Leo is a natural expansion of a very successful equine and farm animal rescue: Rebecca, Jan and Kaytee rescued horses and many other animals for years and had already rescued some Catahoula Leopard dogs. Leo was Becca's most closely bonded Familiar, and his physical body failed. After his passing he guided her through love and dedication to begin rescuing more dogs. Through this Rescue Leo returns! If you are here for a pet, there is an adoption fee. If you are here looking for your SOUL COMPANION or Familiar, there is never any charge. All of our prayers go out to Animals and Companions in need. We save as many as we can, ALWAYS, and help them on their journeys Home.
We are a federally recognized 501 (c) (3) non-profit, a Colorado Licensed Charity, we have 2 resident legally ordained clergy, and our activities are protected under the Religious Land Use and Institutionalized Persons Act (RLUIPA) . Familiars are Kindred Spirits, and we must save them. RESCUING IS OUR RELIGION AND THIS IS OUR CHURCH.
