Pueblo Hearthies...

Age Range/Type: Family
Located in: Pueblo, Colorado
Key Contact: Moonstorm

Spiritual Path: Hearth witches- mainly sol.
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Open Circles... Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: The mission: To share in our unique talents to build an open hearth group.

Come when you want; to what you want;

This is not a COVEN!!! There is no leader, only a facilitator!

Philosophy of leadership: Wicca is a path of one’s own following- so you have to follow it your way.

Thursdays 6-9

~BUILDING YOUR BOOK OF SHADOWS-
Topical book of shadows information and hand outs.

~Celebration followed by a POT LUCK-
Sabbat and ritual workings, and feasts shared.
Or seasonal discussion and light fare to share.

~WORKSHOP-
Deeper connectivity via more intense study of topics like divination, trance work, baking.. whatever the topic, we shall delve deeper...

~CRAFTING/COOKING-
Kitchen and craft witching are afoot! Skill building as a witch in your home, we will do things like making tea ritual cakes, black salt, or laundry soap...

~PLANNING MEETING-
There are always needs to fill in gaps and get through planning a schedule and newsletter that makes our lives fuller. With some shared snacks, on any 5th week we may do some planning.

There is always need for organizers or other projects to be done in the altar room, so if you are not interested in cooking/crafts, perhaps helping prep for a future rit or activity while we meet.

Fires, gardening, camping, meditation, reading, as desired can all be done!

Some shopping trips to a crystal store or other activity may happen here or there, a special guest may show up as planned.

Once a month a day will be designated for kids to meet up (A Spiral scout activity will be conducted so that they can do something fun- maybe make mosaics or a craft, or do a drum circle and play with like minded kids) . We home school and if other kids do too- we may meet up for a fun activity during a school day- but mainly we will stick to non-school hours so all kids can join.

Requests: We have NO commitment requirements and you can come for anything. We attend the UU and are very eclectic. We also do believe in rights of others so we are open and have no rules against attendance; though we would like to meet you in public once prior to coming to our home for safety purposes; Thank you.

However we did ask everyone a few things.

1 Be kind respectful and open
2 No intoxication at rituals
3 No smoking inside our house
4 Be careful around the kids and be considerate of others parenting styles
5 Participate
6 Share what you can in food or other contributions: We have no dues but there are costs to cover some supplies and everyone will need to contribute to craft needs or bring stuff as needed.

Other: A newsletter will be distributed with a schedule asap!

Help is welcome and anyone’s opinions will be heard/taken into consideration by the group for the good of the group!

We used to meet in Canon but I had a year hiatus and then went to Cali for a year; Those of you who know- yes it was time for the epic mid life "Who am I now Convo" the rest; I took a break (some say from reality- sorry to anyone in the universe I bruised- I will offer ammends as you will allow and desire and mean them with all I am!" Those who don't know- life gets hard- I broke under pressure- I hurt some and abandoned our group- I won't do that again! I am on my feet; in therapy; and doing well to be strong! Life gave me a few lemons; come drink some lemonade with me...and help me celebrate my new life!"
