Spiritual Path: Shamanic Witchcraft
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Open Circles... Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: The pagan temple of the Singing Blue Lotus engages and honors the earth, deities, helping spirits and ancestors. Its mission is to educate and build a community of those who seek to walk the path of a shamanic witch. You will learn about the craft, core shamanic practices and most of all about yourself and the world around you. All of the teachings are experiential and they will spiritually enrich your life.

The temple welcomes everyone who is interested in growing spiritually and seeking personal empowerment through the old ways. You will find that in order to have a fulfilling spiritual life your mind must be opened and free of judgements, and your heart must be full of love, compassion and gratitude.

The temple is comprised of members who would consider themselves to be, “The Curious”, “The Seeker”, “The Awakened” and “The Empowered”.

The Curious Ones are those who are not yet initiated temple members. They have heard the calling of the ancients but they have found themselves at a crossroads and they must decide if they will embark on a new spiritual path or if they will just carry on their current one. They will learn about what a pagan religion is, they will learn the ancient and present roles of a witch and a shaman.

The Seekers are those who have decided to embark in this new and exciting path and they choose to be initiated into the temple. They are seeking the knowledge and the tools necessary to walk through their spiritual journey with confidence and support. They have made a commitment of a year and a day to explore and learn the basics of shamanic witchcraft and gain a new perspective of oneself.

The Awakened are those have who found what they were seeking and now they have awakened to a new world. They have made the decision to go further down their path and rededicate themselves to another year and a day. During this time they are able to put into practice the things learned and they are ready to expand their knowledge and explore advanced magical and shamanic practices. As they continue to blossom spiritually, they delve deeper into their own self and are able to see more clearly the areas in which they need to grow, transform and heal.

The Empowered are those who have awakened and are now empowered in their personal life. They have now become a pillar to the temple community. They are now in a place where they can share with others their interests and knowledge. If they feel called to, they can assist or plan gatherings, Esbats and Sabbats. They are mentors who provide spiritual support to those members who are just embarking on their spiritual journey.

The Priesthood are those who have heard the calling from Spirit to dedicate themselves to further serve their community and temple. They want to be a positive catalyst within the community they reside in (pagan or not) and to bring healing and joy to those around them. Priests have a strong connection with spirits and deities. They are educators at heart who have a deep devotion to their path and have experienced first-hand the wonderful and awe inspiring gifts spirit brings into your life.
