Group Overview: DC Pan is the team responsible for creating and maintaining a high-quality, independent Pagan community announcements list and events calendar for the DC/MD/VA region. The DC Pan team is composed of Pagan volunteers who've demonstrated involvement and commitment within the greater DC Pagan community, as well as an even-handed and unbiased attitude toward community politics. Journalistic objectivity is highly valued. Team members serve in a variety of roles, including list moderators, calendar editors, and links list librarians.
Members of our group are active in the community, and range from solitary community activists, to members and leaders of a variety of different local pagan organizations. All of us are committed to serving our community by offering this open, accessible, and unbiased information resource.
DC Pagan Announcements & Calendar
for Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington, DC
DCPannounce [DCPan] is a low-volume list for local announcements of special interest to Pagans in the DC/MD/VA community, and occasionally the greater mid-Atlantic region.
This community billboard is open to all Pagan and Pagan-friendly folk. Announcements of events such as open celebrations, social gatherings, festivals, classes, workshops, conferences, group foundings, etc. are welcome and encouraged. Local merchants and other business ventures may post brief Pagan-related events listings once per month.
Posted events may be added to DCPcal -- the DC Pagan Calendar.
List members may also link to recurring events, their organizations, and even themselves on the fully publicly-accessible DCP Links List.
