Group Overview: Its Mission: The Coven of the Blue Heron is a group of like-minded individuals dedicated to honoring the Goddess, God, and Ancestors through a degree system based on Celtic and Norse mythology, influenced by Gardnerian Wicca, and incorporating Reiki practices and principles.
Its Purpose: To learn, to teach, to train, to heal, to celebrate, and to give back to the community.
The Coven of the Blue Heron’s function is to guide other wiccans on a clerical and teaching path. We are a blend of Celtic and Germanic Wicca, and we incorporate Reiki as part of our public healing circles. This group meets once a month for coven meetings and to celebrate Sabbaths and Esbats. In addition, once a month the group holds Healing Circles open to the general public. Members of the coven are encouraged to attend both meetings, but Healing Circles are not required.
