Group Overview: Founded in 1981 by writer and paranormal investigator, Lady Nicole Everett, the Religious Order of the Circle of Isis Rising currently has membership of over one hundred people in the United States and Surinam. The Order has two covens, the Circle of Isis Rising and the Circle of Phoenix which are both in Miami, FL. Based on Druidic principles to a point, the Coven then goes eclectlic. Also incorporated are Hermetic and Egyptian traditions. Membership is represented by people of all ages from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds.

The Coven's focus is on religion and individual spiritual growth. Community service is also stressed together with a respect for the environment and interpersonal relationships. On October 31, 2002 the Religious Order of the Circle of Isis Rising became legally recognized as a not-for-profit corporation by the State of Florida.

In Miami, the members of the Grove are active in presenting Wicca in a positive light through media appearances on radio, national and international television and film. Donations have been made to organizations for the homeless, abused women, and Pagan groups. Open participation in the Diabetes and AIDS Walkathons helps raise money and also puts Wiccans in positions of service. There is even a public plaque displaying the Coven's name at the Miami Metrozoo since 1993 for the adoption and support of the Clouded Leopard, the Coven's mascot. Participation was also given towards the Pluralism Project out of Harvard University, which explores the religious diversity of America with a CD ROM that was made available the summer of 1996 for use in colleges, universities, high schools, and other learning centers across the country. Sabbat celebrations are open to all Kindred Spirits. All other meetings are closed unless special exception is made.

Rev. Nicole Everett was the founder of the Religious Order of the Circle of Isis Rising, and reigned as Sabbat Queen until her death on April 10, 2000. She was a writer and psychic investigator with numerous appearances on national and international television and radio. Lady Nicole establised the coven branch in Miami before moving to the covenstead sanctuary, Caer Danu, in Oregon.

Rev. Sandra C. Richardson is the Grand Elder High Priestess, and she currently reigns over the Order. Rev. Richardson is an internationally renowed psychic, writer, and paranormal investigator. She provides lectures, and seminars on Wicca, Tarot, as well as other area of metaphysics, and has appeared on national and international television and radio programs. Rev. Richardson is the co-owner of the Mystical Aamulet Network in Miami.

He lends assistance to the Grand Elder High Priestess and Coven Master in the making of decisions pertaining to the growth and direction of the Coven. He is also an initiate of the Afro-Cuban religion of Santeria. Rev. Jones offers spiritual consultations, conducts religious ceremonies and he provides lectures on Wicca. Se habla espańol.
