Group Overview: Hi, I'm Raven!
I'm looking to start a study group that will meet once a month to discuss Pagan, Eclectic, and other religions in an open lecture and/or discussion style. I hope to hear from other folks who have an interest in teaching and learning. I personally would like to meet some Heathens and become familiar with their beliefs and practices as I have not been exposed to any of their teachings! You guys sound interesting!
I would also, of course, love to meet other Pagans, Wiccans, Witches, Eclectic practitioners of any path, and anyone else who shares curiosity, maturity, honesty, respect, and a desire to learn and share!
I have no times or places to meet established yet. I am forming this from scratch in all sincerity, so I would like to find at least three of four other people before I wantonly decide on a location. I'll try to find something as central to everyone interested as I can!
This would be an open learning group, I dont want anyone to think they cant come because of their age or experience! Everyone would be welcome! I encourage younger folks to come out and learn what they like and share what they've learned. I encouage more experienced folks to come out and share their wisdom and see what can be learned from the next generation.

A little about me: I am ordained by the Universal Life Church of Medesto, CA. Why? Because they're free and it is a legal ordainantion! ^_~ I am as of now not performing any legal ceremonies because I am not fully read on FL's laws concerning the matter.
I trained with an Eclectic based Pagan coven that had heavy Irish trad influnces (I stray away from using the word "Celtic" because, really, that is a language grouping more than anything ^_^) . I was Initiated at the age of 13. I left the goup at 14 and persued solo study for several years and I took my clergy vows on Samhain of 2002. I have worked mostly solitarily although I really enjoy sharing the Sabbats with fellow practitioners.
I have not rejoined a coven due to A) Not being able to find the right mix of people B) Personal time constraints C) Transportation issues that have since been resolved and D) I am just now settled back in Oldsmar...
I focus on balance, embracing dark and light (note: not negativity) . I mostly work with the trad Irish pantheon, although I am always interested in learning about new pantheons to see if there isnt one that wont grab my heart more than my current one.
