Group Overview: CIRCLES IN THE WOODS is a CUUPs (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans) chapter affiliated as a committee with UUCT, Unitarian Universalist Church of Tampa, and located at 11400 Morris Bridge Road, Tampa, FL 33637.
Circles in the Woods CUUPS sponsors a Full Moon Celebration open to the public on Saturdays closest to the full moon (check the website for actual dates) and CUUPS meetings on the first Monday of each month, usually followed by classes/workshops (check the calendar for actual dates and cancellations) . All are open to the public, held at UUCT and cost is a donation. Children are welcome but we have no child care so you are responsible.
Circles in the Woods CUUPS promotes:
- the understanding and practice of Earth-centered spirituality groups
- Earth-centered spirituality groups
- provide information, networking and education materials on Paganism and Earth-centered spirituality
- encourage the development of theo/alogical and liturgical materials based on Earth and Nature-centered religious and spiritual perspectives
Circles in the Woods CUUPS can provide resources for handfastings (including legal) , wiccanings, and other rites of passage. Also house cleansings, blessings or other such rituals.
