MISSION STATEMENT
Enchanted Rose Moon Circle (hereafter ERMC) is dedicated to encouraging women to empower themselves. As we learn, grow and celebrate the seasonal cycles in the Wheel of the Year we are attuned to the energies of the earth and the universe. We relate to deity as the Great Mother containing both Goddess and God within Herself. This duality is seen in all of nature. We also recognize the many different aspects of both Goddess and God which is polytheistic in nature. We are eclectic in our worship, holding to no one pantheon within our coven but worshipping the Lord and Lady as we make our connections to them. Our connection to the Gods, to the Earth and Universe, and to all beings are of primary importance.
We see our lives as magickal, each day bringing its own magickal quality to our lives. We view love as being necessary to live a magickal life. Without this there is no magick!!!
We also strive to be an extended family. ERMC is a SAFE place where we can all be ourselves. Each lady can be assured of anything she shares staying in our circle. WE are here to learn, grow and to support each other. In this way we become sisters of choice!
Each lady’s family and /or family of choice is recognized as part of a kind of outer court. We include encouraging them as part of our mission. They are also welcome to certain rituals/celebrations and to have rites of passage performed by the HPs.
Our circle/coven is democratic in governing itself. Although I act as High Priestess in the circle and teach, etc., our coven is just that, OURS. Our one governing rule is that we all need to be comfortable with whatever we do together. A tie would be discussed and either broken by the HPs or the issue would not happen. We also, as much as is possible, strive to keep the Witch’s Rede, “An it harm none, do what thou will”.
Within our community, we act as examples of what a witch really is!!! We endeavor to be a vital part of our own communities and act as Wise Women within those communities. We are the healers of the Earth and of our fellow human beings and of all life. Not to say that we are perfect or know it all but that we constantly make it our goal to learn, grow and be of service in the way we choose to be, guided by our natural talents and inclinations.
We endeavor to live holistic lives keeping a balance in mind, body and spirit. In this way, we are honoring not only ourselves, but the Goddess and God! We know that we are deserving of good things and we strive to live joyful lives and to bring joy to those around us.
