Group Overview: The Clan of the Sacred Flame was founded in Harrisburg P.A on Litha, June, 21st 2008 by Lord Rowan and his three students. Since that time we have grown into a clan with a number Priests and Priestesses who each act as teachers and guides for our students.The teachings of the Sacred Flame are not based on Wiccan material, we are formed from hereditary lineage and do not call ourselves Wiccans, we are witches. Witchcraft is our spiritual path and our religion.
Our goal is to help our students learn the ways of the Goddess and the God. After a determined time of study and performance, the students will be elevated through our three degree system of initiation. Our ultimate goal is to train new witches and Priest/ess in our tradition to spread our teachings and to be channels for the Gods of witchcraft.
Please be at least 18 years of age if you are contacting us for membership. We are a Family type of group that spends a lot of time together in and out of the circle. We will only accept members who show proper respect to their H.Priest, H.Priestess and fellow coven members. We will only accept members who are determind to learn and are willing to make the sacrifice of time to join in coven activities. We do not accept everyone, we are looking for quality, not quantity when it comes to our students and future covens.
Anyone interested in joining one of our covens must meet with one of the Priest/ess for an interview in a public location determined by your future teacher. You may be asked for more than one interview if requested.If the interview goes well you will be invited to a class and then to a ritual. If the energy is correct, you will become a seeker in the Sacred Flame.
Some of our covens holds open circles for minor Sabbats and some Esbats. You do NOT need to be an initiate in our tradition to attend these events or an honorary member of the tradition. All are welcome to celebrate with us in love, friendship and mutual respect.
