Group Overview: The Orlando Pagan Collective is an attempt to bridge the gaps between the dynamic and diverse pagan groups in the Greater Orlando Metro area. Originally an off shoot of a Wiccan Church, the OPC now strives to be inclusive and help all local pagan paths grow and stand strong, even if to do so they must stand as them self alone.

At this time you receive little for joining the OPC. You should join or work with the OPC because you believe that as a community we are stronger having each other's backs instead of continuing the fiefdom struggle for dominance that is and has for some time taken place in Orlando. We can disagree on tradition or the proper way to practice our pagan paths. Those differences are why we have many groups and traditions. You join or support the OPC because you feel that those differences should not make us enemies incapable of working together on the common grounds where we agree or do not disagree enough to be of no help to one another.

If doing this WORK appeals to you, then your membership is more than welcome.

"Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it" are wise words. OPC has a past and like all things with a past it has baggage. As of Nov 1, 2014 the leadership and most of OPC has been changed. Some of the many complaints we still receive:
*DO NOT LIKE HOW OPC CHARGES FOR THE NEWSLETTER (which has not been true for 4+ years)
*.. DO NOT LIKE THE WAY OPC DO THINGS (what specifically? Are you sure OPC even do that or does it that way any more?)

We could sit here all day and fight over the past and who is at fault for what. Is that productive or of help to the Pagan Communality?

Instead of keep and renew these old fights OPC suggests we ALL move on and start anew today here and now.

IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT, please bring it to the present leadership of the OPC and receive one of 3 answers:
*We acknowledge the problem, however to give you what you demand would require us to harm other members of the pagan community. While such appeasement may have taken place in the past it will no longer be part of OPC. You may not have realized the harm you demanded be done to others, is that relay what you intended?
*We acknowledge that the issue you bring up was once a problem. This is what we have already done about it. Please tell us how the solution in place is not enough?
*We acknowledge the problem, and were unaware it was one. Is this solution that harms none one that works for you?

We understand these solutions won't work for everyone. And that saddens us. But we plan to follow "An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will" We won't pick sides or help local groups fight with one another. And we will support as many local groups being the group they are as we can that will let us. Your group is always welcome unless you decide to exclude it from the collective.

If you dislike the way OPC is doing something, anyone is free to JOIN > RUN FOR THE BOARD OR A COMMITTEE HEAD and lead us in a different direction or add their better way to do something to the collective. Ultimately the OPC will be a reflection of those who volunteer to run and lead it.
