Group Overview: The Blue Mist Rising Drum Circle (a.k.a. The BMR) is NOT your typical Drum Circle. We are a Neo-Pagan Drum Circle that explores the Spiritual aspects of drumming. To do this we may use an assortment of percussion and wind instruments as well as meditation and smudging.
The BMR is open to persons of all Faiths, Sex, Age, Orientation, and skill levels. We are not concerned with any Member's personal beliefs as long as they enter our Circles with positive energy or the intent to create positive energy.
So if you are looking for the wild near circus atmosphere of the typical Drum Circle, we may not be for you. But if you are searching for a way to help you make a Spiritual connection to Deity, the Elements or each other. You might want to give The BMR a try. We love meeting new people!

INFO: The BMR meets at various times throughout the year and at various locations. We meet at State and County owned Parks, both in rented and public space. We also hold Circles on private property, or in Member's residences when invited. Most of our Circles are held in the North Cobb, Southeast Bartow and Southwest Cherokee county areas. We will occasionally travel to locations outside of this area for special events or activities such as camping trips or Pagan Festivals. All scheduled activities are listed on our Calendar of events located on the Group web-site.
The BMR is a Sister Group of the North Georgia Solitaries (NGS) , and participates in many NGS events.
