Group Overview: Conception of the Coven of Shadows Light
You may misunderstand the Coven of Shadows Light, thinking it is only a social gathering for fun and feasting. But it is much more than that.
The Coven of Shadows Light requires devotion and dedication to the pursuit of spiritual growth and the development of individual abilities. This is so that when the physical body tires the spiritual body can take over. The goal of the Coven of Shadows Light it to build mind, body and spirit unity.
Mental training involves faith, justice and honesty—these virtues are necessary for members of the Coven of Shadows Light and are reinforced through the by-laws.
Magickal workings are only a demonstration of our own mental abilities, obtained through our strongest devotion to the craft.
So, you see the Coven of Shadows Light is not merely a time to gather just to socialize with our friends and family, but to unite and honor the spirit that abides within us and provides for us daily. It is a time for thanksgiving and receiving a time to develop and grow with the support of our brothers and sisters within the craft. Upon closer inspection on will see that we develop a strong mind, positive outlook and impeccable morals to put for the maximum degree of integrity.
