Group Overview: The Church - The Grove of the Willow Wood upholds the Ravenwood tradition; a tradition developed from Celtic and Stregheria (Italian Witchcraft) traditions and lore. The Grove of the Willow Wood is lead by High Priestess Lady Jasmine, and her High Priest, Lord Solandrin. Lady Jasmine and Lord Solandrin were initiated to the second degree priesthood on July 28, 2007 by Lady Larina at the Ravenwood Covenstead. Lady Jasmine lives in Lumpkin County with her husband and children, has a professional background in massage therapy, and is a reiki master. Lord Solandrin lives in Lumpkin County with his partner and family, and has a professional background in healthcare.
The Seminary - Grove of the Willow Wood is an educational institution for those drawn to the Old Religion. We offer basic factual information through open houses. For those that would like to pursue further knowledge we offer individualized training built upon the Wiccan Laws and Tenets.
We are open to all adult seekers who have love in their heart, a sincere desire to learn the ways of the Old Religion, and seek the love and light of the Goddess and God. At the Grove of the Willow Wood, we provide a sanctuary to experience the Old religion where people can rediscover themselves and the Old Gods.
Sabbats - All eight Sabbats of the quarters and cross-quarters of the Wheel of the Year are celebrated.
Esbats (Full Moon) - The 13 lunar Esbats are celebrated.
Classes - Classes covering topics such as Laws of the Craft, Tenets, Magickal Theory, Metaphysical Theory, Mental Discipline, and Tools of the Craft.
