A WitchVox Sponsor

Age Range/Type: Adult
Located in: Atlanta - Johns Creek, Georgia
Key Contact: Lady Maia

Spiritual Path: Ravenwood Tradition
Status: Established Group
Community Support: Open Circles... Legal Clergy... Teaching Available

Group Overview: The House of Ravenwood was founded in Atlanta Georgia by our Witch Queen and Elder High Priestess, Lady Sintana, at Samhain 1977. With the love and support of many through the years, Ravenwood survived many challenges and was instrumental in winning legal recognition for the Craft. Ravenwood Church and Seminary of Wicca, Inc. became one of the first institutions celebrating the Old Religion to receive 501 (c) 3 status as a not-for profit church in 1979.

Based in the Greater Atlanta area, Ravenwood continues to serve as a spiritual home for students wishing to dedicate themselves to a path of self-discovery, harmony, balance and spiritual practice. To become a Witch and Priest or Priestess takes years of study, self-discovery, and mental discipline. It requires the understanding and application of love, responsibility, and commitment to walking the path of the Old Religion in all things. Not the least of all, it requires a teacher and a body of accomplished elders to support a seeker along the path of the mysteries.

Ravenwood is an semi-public group with open circles by invitation only. If a seeker is interested in Ravenwood, whether for education or clergy or circle attendance, please e-mail the High Priestess, Lady Maia. She can be reached through the contact page of the web-site listed below, or using the button on this page to send a private e-mail to the group.

The Ravenwood Tradition is comprised of four sister groups including Ravenwood, Myst of the Wildwood, Dragonwood, and Sage Moon Grove which are uniquely suited to assist seekers on their individual paths.

Many of the sister groups have their own web-sites and Witch's Voice listings which can also be accessed through this web-site or the Ravenwood web-site contacts page.
