Group Overview: The Order of Emrys (Merlinus) was founded to meet the needs of Pagan and/or Wiccan men seeking a community and a fellowship. We are located in Marietta, GA, (on the North side of Atlanta) , with various activities to be held in the greater Atlanta area.
INVITATION: This is an open invitation to all men who identify themselves as Pagan, Solitary Witches, Alchemists, Wizards, Shamans, Sorcerers, etc.This is an all-male coven (minimum age: 21 yrs) that represents multiple traditions and degrees including but not limited to Eclectic, Wicca, Celtic, Norse, Druidism, Faery, Shamanism, Eastern Mysticism, Yoga, Science, Alchemy, Ceremonial and High Magick as well as encouraging Green Earth-Consciousness as a way of life. We emphasize a "Magickal Brotherhood and the Tribe" for personal growth. We honor both the Divine Masculine and the Divine Feminine with an emphasis on male psychological, spiritual, and physical growth.
MISSION: Our mission is to assist and support men who wish to belong to a Tribe and Magickal Brotherhood. We are about encouraging men seeking (1) inner healing, (2) a deeper meaning in their personal and spiritual lives, (3) enhancing their magickal skills, and (4) belonging to a community. We emphasize respect and learning from one another about different forms of magickal pagan practices. We also emphasize peer support and mentoring for practical men's growth in career path development, job networking, self-development, relationship building, educational advancement, physical health, emotional wellness, and much more.
TRAINING: Growth in the coven will be through group manuscript study, self-study into personal interest topics (e.g., meditation, yoga, Reiki, tarot, astrology, dancing, drumming, etc.) , group activities, creating a personal Book of Shadows, going on personal quests, experiencing male initiation rites, practicing rituals, fulfilling leadership roles, personal service, volunteering, mentoring, inner shadow work, archetypal exploration, craft work, and various other achievements. There is a standard set of books used to put everyone on the same page. Also the following classes will give everyone a firm foundation for their Craft life:

Advancement through degrees/levels for those who desire to become priests will come through study and hands-on practice. We will practice drumming, chanting, tarot reading, scrying, yoga, meditation, soul crafting, vision questing, ceremonial rituals, and trance work to enhance our inner light and strengthen our personal/ group magick. Robes and ceremonial dress on Sabbats and some occasions will be encouraged.
Everyone is represented by the Circle and the Spiritual Round Table where all members are equal brothers and contributors to the energy of this Magickal Brotherhood. The Council of Wizards (Wisemen) Healing Circle is routinely experienced for inner reflection and self-discovery.
FUN & FELLOWSHIP OF THE BROTHERHOOD: We are also a fun group with planned activities such as: hiking, biking, swimming, day trips, films, theatres, travel, nature walks, Renaissance Festivals, camping, cookouts, etc.
We will enjoy practicing with other Pagan groups in the community as well as learning from each other through sharing, education and guidance.
