Group Overview: The Northern Woods Tradition is a Celtic/Eclectic tradition founded by Lord Merlinnus Nighthawk in 2012. It works with, worships, and incorporates Celtic deities and traditions. Along with that, it is a very flexible tradition that allows for picking and choosing what works best for the Coven as well as the individual members. Right now the Northern Woods has a Facebook study page. The main Coven is called the Oak Coven and only accepts members who are 18 years or older. There are four degrees in this tradition, First Degree (which leads to initiation into the Oak Coven) , Second Degree, Third Degree (High Priest/High Priestess title gained) , and Fourth Degree (which is an honorary degree bestowing the title of Elder to those Third Degree members who desire to remain in the Oak Coven instead of starting their own) . There are no fees for any thing, every thing is free. We view our members as family and have perfect trust in one another. We have an online Coven/Physical coven and are based out of Savannah, Georgia. At this time I have the Facebook page for the Study Group set to private to better accommodate those students who do not wish to have their secret practice revealed to the wide world around them.
