My name is T. D. Hartman and I am a Celtic Witch studying to be a Druidess. I am trying to find or establish a regular Pagan Moot in my area.
I am trying to contact Covens or Henges or just Pagan Groups in the Council Bluffs/Omaha area of Western Iowa. I am interested in meeting Groups or Individuals whose studies include emphasis on the study of Witchcraft and Druidism and nature worship in order to set up a regular Moot in Council Bluffs or Omaha.
I became involved in the Pagan Community in May of 2004 at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas. The Wiccan Rede is of utmost importance to me. An Irish/Celtic influence is obvious in what I have been studying. I am interested in Learning about Witchcraft, Runecraft (but not practicing Asatru) , Druidism past and present, and various other Pagan aspects alive today. I am Polytheistic. I worship a number of deities. Some of these deities are Belenos, Apollo (the Sun) , Amaterasu-omi-Kami (also the Sun) , Gaea (the Earth herself) , Morrigan, Artemis (the Moon) , Lugh, and Epona. The Watchtowers and Dragons are important, but not to be trifled with by amateurs. Faeries and other Earth Spirits are also a part of the Celtic/Irish aspect that I celebrate and work with.
I am a Celtic Witch. Although I am highly Polytheistic and some people see that as being Eclectic, I do not, and it doesn't give you the right to impose your label on my Beliefs. I am also studying Druidism and Celtic studies. If you would like to meet other Pagans in Western Iowa or if you have any questions, you are free to contact me.
