Group Overview: The Prairie Earth Society Community Outreach Program was founded in order to meet the material and spiritual needs of our Group members. We service NE Iowa and surrounding areas. The Prairie Earth Society is a 501 (C) 3 Non-Profit organization.
The Prairie Earth Society is a 501 (C) 3 Non-Profit that was founded in August, 2011. The group was formed to provide a safe, sacred and welcoming environment for all of those who live in the NE Iowa and surrounding areas that follow a Nature Based Spiritual Path. The motto of the Prairie Earth Society is: Gather, Learn, Give.
The Prairie Earth Society Outreach Program was founded to provide community services to our group members and to fulfill the "Give" portion of our motto. The Outreach Program is funded by donation and various fundraising activities throughout the year. Our Group members volunteer all material, labor and skills where needed, as needed. Wren is the Director of the Outreach Program.
Services offered by the Outreach Program:
Spiritual Counseling: Confidential, one on one spiritual counseling with Wren, Coedwig or Jasmine at any time that you need it via online, phone, in person.
Emergency shelter services: On an as needed basis, as available, contact Wren for more information.
Coordination with existing local services in your area: If you have a need, let me know (Wren) and I will find out information where you can get that need fulfilled in your local area. Sometimes the help is there, but we don't know where to look. I will look for you!
Well Check services - do you or a loved one need someone to peek in on you to make sure you are doing ok during a recovery period? Let me know and I can organize that.
Meals and Light Housekeeping during recovery - If you need some pre cooked meals delivered, or help cooking in your own home during a recovery period, contact me and I will organize it for you. Do you need light housekeeping and/or yard work done? Contact me and I will organize it for you as well.
Carpooling to Prairie Earth Society Events: If you want to come to an event or gathering and don't have a ride, let me know and I can organize a carpool with someone else who is coming in your area.

Prairie Earth Society Outreach Program Prison Ministry
Mission Statement: To provide outreach and ministerial services to pagan prisoners in Iowa Department of Corrections Prisons. To provide a sense of community for pagan prisoners through letter writing, face to face visits, assisting Prisoner family members in coordinating travel to and from Prisons (as funds are available) , to assist newly released pagan prisoners with a Pagan Community that will help them adjust to the environment outside of Prison, to provide coordination with already existing community resources for newly released prisoners and for family members during a prisoners incarceration.

To give back to our communities we are in the process of Adopting a Highway by the LV Campground where our gathering events are held, this Spring we will begin prepping a Community Garden at the Campground for use of all Members during Gatherings, assisting with Habitat for Humanities as weather permits and volunteers commit, as well as collecting for the Iowa Food Bank in Independence, and a Women's Shelter in Waterloo.
