Group Overview: We are a group of like minded people drawn toward an Earth based path that have come together to learn and share our experiences. We welcome people from all walks of life including Pagan, Wiccan, BioRegional Animism, Native American, Druid, Naturalists, Hippies, etc. We generally meet once a month, on the first Sunday at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Palouse here in Moscow, ID. Meetings are at 2 p.m. and are generally held either in the Sanctuary or outside weather permitting.
We are open to exploring all paths and have enjoyed rituals from many different traditions. Members of the group are invited to run a ritual if they wish or even just set up the month's altar for the meeting. Our members range from very elaborate and more traditional to the minimalists. All have designed beautiful altars that not only provide a window into how someone else may view their spirituality but also providing a look into the person themself and help us build a better foundation of trust between our members.
We are also exploring keeping our rituals regionally diverse. This may include learning more about the Native American's of the area and their Gods or including descriptions of the local area in calling the corners (such as the Palouse's rolling hills for Earth) or even including local flora and fauna on our altars instead of something that's more traditional such as Mountain Ash (otherwise known as Rowan) on our Yule altar instead of Holly.
We send out a genral newsletter every month with information pertaining to the group and our local area. If you wish to be added to the list, please contact us.
We will have our own web site up and running soon.
