Group Overview: Palo Mayombe Munanso el Machete que gana todas las batallas or "Palo Mayombe Temple of the Machete who wins all battles", is a multi-African-Diasporia tradition spiritual temple which houses primarily Palo Mayombe, Voudou and Spiritism but due to both my linage and godfathers; a healthy amount of Obeah, Kimbanda and European Grimoric traditions are notably present as well.

We comprise a strong lively spiritual community with Boise, Meridian, Nampa, and Kuna being locally represented, including temple members who reside in Mexico, Africa, Germany, Netherlands, Thailand, and England.

We are a Palo Mayombe temple under Zarabanda (Nkosi Mukumbe in Bantu) . Zarabanda is comparable to the Orisha Oggun, in the same vein as both the Roman deities Mars and Vulcan and the Norse deity Tyr.

Zarabanda is the spiritual father and protector of this temple.

Palo Mayombe is an Afro (Congo/Bantu speaking) /Cuban magical religion, thoroughly deserving of its aggressive reputation as an extremely fierce spiritual path and fiery sorcerous practices.

But don't let that frighten you away.

Palo Mayombe is a stunningly beautiful, and colorful necromantic religious practice who seeks to honor and venerate the dead fist, including one's ancestors. Consisting of deep trances, spiritual possession, divination, cleansing, healing, protection, exorcism, spiritual mediumship, and profound connection with Malongo, or Nature. Palo Mayombe also has a place for direct communication with, and possession by, both plant and animal spirits

Palo Mayombe makes animal sacrifices, and while everyone is welcome to attend Palo rites, not everyone is ready to witness blood offerings. Anyone in attendance has the option to step out before and while the offerings are made.

The Voudou and Spiritism branches we practice DO NOT require animal sacrifice.

Voudou is a magical religion from West Africa, which traveled with the slave trade to the Island of Hispaniola. Both sides of the Island of Hispaniola (the French Haiti and Spanish Dominican Republic) added their distinct flavor to the practice of Voudou. Both Haitian and Dominican Voudou was born with the birth of the Petro Loa. The Petro came into existence as a direct response to the cries of liberation and retribution against the cruelty suffered under French and Spanish slavery.

Our temple conducts authentic Voudou rites, rituals, gatherings, festivals and ceremonies. We are not a "hoodoo" or "New Orleans" eclectic hodge-podge but rather a link in a unbroken linage of Voudou.

We honor both Rada (cool and watery) and Petro (hot and fiery) loa. We also make services to The Ghede (The Dead) or eguns, and ancestors or egun-guns.

Spiritism is a watery spiritual practice of spiritual progression and elevation. Practiced around a "White Table", the personal spirit guides and ancestors of all present receive light and progress. Based on French occultist Alan Kardec Church of Spiritualism, Spiritism runs like a seance session with various mediums working numerous causes.

Spiritism includes 21 notable spiritual commissions such as the Indio, Gypsy, Afrikan, Mariner, and Madamas/Madamos, etc. Each commission has it's own particular scheme, and talents to help humanity elevate.

Anyone interested in wonderfully friendly people, warm inviting environments, direct spiritual communication and authentic magical/spiritual practices is strongly encourage to come a visit the Palo Mayombe Munanso el Machete que gana todas las batallas.
