Group Overview: Oak Scouts is a new scouting program that recently started a new troop in Waterloo IL (Monroe County, 30 min from Belleville IL)
Teach your children gender balance, the celebration of diversity, inclusiveness , and sustainability while being in a safe and friendly environment that promotes Earth-based values.
This is not a drop off service, parents are encouraged to participate! Its super affordable and no one will be turned down due to lack of money.
Oak Scouts learn sewing, canning, community service, first aid, fishing, forestry, cooking, and a multitude of other fun activities. We go on field trips, have special speakers and presenters and learn things that you won't find in conventional or traditional scouting programs.
The program is available for children and young adults of all ages (2-18) . Come learn something new or maybe share some of your knowledge with us. Check out our website at
