Group Overview: The Sacred Circle is a new groupstill finding its feet. We are aiming to be a nondenominational pagan group. Currently we meet for the Sabbats and celebrate the full moons in Wiccan rituals; at the moment we're all Wiccan, but we're hoping to have a diverse group and celebrate the holy days of other faiths as well. We are fun and laid-back people and we're happy to meet new people of different faiths.
For every sabbat ritual, we host a pot-luck dinner, and one of the only rules is that everyone must bring homemade foods (or at least buy something that was made by a person and not a factory somewhere) . For example, this Samhain, our menu includes roasted squash, apple pie, mulled cider & mulled wine. Sound yummy? Come join a group where the key members love to cook!
Currently we're meeting in Roger's Park, near to the red line.
For those interested, we are considering offering classes/workshops covering different types of magic, spell work, mythology, history of Wicca, history of magic & witchcraft in the ancient world through modern day. Ciel, our priestess-in-residence, has extensively studied the history and development of Wicca, and magic in the ancient world. She is an excellent resource for those just beginning in the Craft and those interested in deepening their knowledge of magic.
