Group Overview: Circle of the Ancient Ways is a Chicagoland Pagan Way Tradition Coven teaching basic Craft. Covensted is in the Calumet region of northwest Indiana (also serving northeast Illinois) .
At this time led by initiated High Priestess, Circle of the Ancient Ways celebrates Full and New Moon Rituals. Festivals (Sabbats) are open to non-members. If interested in attending, please contact us for location and schedule. If you are joining in an Open Ritual, you will be asked to bring a dish or non-alcoholic drink to share.
We are currently open to new members and students. Sincere inquiries only.
Circle of the Ancient Ways is a hooded (not skyclad) coven, in existence since 1993, with a name change in 1997 and again in 2008.
We are clergy-laity and do not try to make a living from teaching Craft or running this group. We don't charge fees for initiation (three degree system) or attendance at rituals. However, the basic Craft classes do have a minimum charge.
Talk to us about membership anytime throughout the year. You may Email, but be concise and provide phone number. Sorry, we don't have time to get involved in lengthy email correspondence and a phone call is more personal.
If you can't travel to Lake County, IN, we would recommend not contacting us, because you MUST attend meetings to benefit from this Coven. Sorry, can't give you a ride.
