Group Overview: Black Bear Protogrove is a group of druids in Southern Indiana, centered in the Bloomington, IN area.
We have discussion meetings and educational workshops dealing with topics such as Indo-European mythology, connecting with the land, working with ancestors and nature spirits, and creating personal altars.
In addition, we conduct open celebrations of the 8 major neopagan holidays, working with the Celtic pantheon (s) for the fire festivals (Samhain, Imbolc, Beltane, and Lughnassadh) , and with other Indo-European pantheons or local spirits for the other 4 holidays (Yule, Spring Equinox, Midsummer, and Fall Equinox) .
