Group Overview: The Dark Forest Tradition is an eclectic blend of Neo-Pagan principles and ideology with the revival of the ancient folk religion of northern Europe, which is known and practiced today as modern Witchcraft. We identify our Tradition as eclectic, meaning we selectively utilize various myths, rituals and symbolism from both contemporary and ancient sources.
We give due honor and reverence to both the God and the Goddess with a primary emphasis placed on spiritual devotion.
We work with the elemental forces of Nature and the power within ourselves, which is known as magick, in our spiritual practices and daily lives and we utilize this power as a tool for personal growth and transformation.
We honor and embrace our ancient agricultural heritage while remaining open to new ideas of science and discovery and we redefine our Tradition as necessary as we gain insight into the many levels and expressions of Universal consciousness. If an idea is outdated or no longer relevant, we change it.
We often find ourselves drawing upon the wisdom of other spiritual paths as our knowledge and understanding of them increases.
We are advocates of tolerance and diversity and all those with an open heart and an open mind are welcome here.
