Group Overview: Blessed be all ye children of AO. Hail and welcome. It is in our darkest hour that our brightest light shines through. Glow with the Darklight within. We believe that in these times it is easy to forget the roots of magick. The gift given to us by the Gods themselves. We believe that in the beginning there was the One. Of the One came the God and Goddess, equal but opposite entities, through which all things were created and unto which all things shall return. We believe that we are constantly reincarnated as a means of learning and that each life is a test that we are driven by our astral selves to complete so that one day we may return to the source and be one with god. We believe in the elemental energies that constantly surround us and our ability as witches to manipulate these energies. We believe that more often than not people confuse witchcraft with wicca. Magick is a tool. Witchcraft is a means to use magick. Wicca is a collection of beliefs based in early paganism. We simply believe that all religions on the planet sprang forth as a means of understanding the complexities of the world around them. In truth the world isn't really that complicated. When man first began to understand his surroundings and saw that the earth provided for his every want and desire he called her mother. He then began to understand that we are all constantly surrounded with raw elemental energy and through focus and desire, raw emotion coupled with iron will, that he could redirect these energies to bring about change in his environment and even in others, thus magick was born. We say that we walk between worlds. We make this claim because it is true. As witches we learn to traverse the astral planes as a further means to expand our understanding of the universe and all things within it, seen and unseen. We do not judge and expect the same. We are all human and no one is above another. We respect all religions for what they are because we believe that the true test of humanity is that we have within us the ability to believe in something greater than ourselves and as witches, we of the Order of Darklight, shall strive to be the best humans we can be. We are all one, of the One. Random acts of kindness and senseless acts of beauty are our rituals. Smiles on the faces of children are our prayers. We are all human and need to be loved and love is the strongest magick of all. Blessed be.
