Group Overview: Our local Novice Hearth (Afal Iachaol or Healing Apple) is directly affiliated with the Spiritual Organization the "Sisterhood of Avalon (SOA) ."
The Sisterhood of Avalon™ is an International Celtic Women's Mysteries Organization which seeks to balance Intuitive Wisdom with Scholastic Achievement.
The SOA focuses on research and teaching. Among our activities, we sponsor the Avalonian Thealogical Seminary, international training intensives, Spiritual Pilgrimages to Glastonbury and other Celtic Sacred Sites, a vast networking web, a barter and matronage program, a monthly newsletter and ample learning opportunities. As a Novice Hearth, we meet to deepen our connections with the Goddesses of Avalon, our inner landscape and each other - in sisterhood.
Women interested in the SOA and the Novice Hearth may contact me for more information. If this is a good fit for you, then you may elect to join the SOA at the next open Portal (Samhain/Calan Gaeaf or Beltaine/Calan Mai) . You may have limited participation with our Novice Hearth once you have committed to join the SOA and full participation once you are a member in good standing. Please contact me for details!
