Group Overview: If you’re looking for a way to get involved in your local pagan community, then you have come to the right place! Gaia’s Knot is an educational pagan group based out of Muncie, Indiana. We have people involved from all different ages, stages, and traditions! We range from the aspiring maiden to the knowledgeable crone; from the curious observer to the seasoned practitioner. Although some of our members may focus specifically on one tradition in their own personal path, we teach, welcome, and encourage many different traditions, and hope that you can add to the mix!
Gaia’s Knot holds rituals on a regular basis. All of our rituals are “open circle”, meaning that anyone with an open mind and an accepting heart is welcome to participate and/or observe. We observe every Sabbat in the wheel of the year, and we also observe many Esbats. Although we operate as a fully functional and individual group, we are also a part of the Unitarian Universalist church of Muncie, Indiana, and hold many of our meetings there.
We also have many workshops going on throughout the year. These are as diverse as the people who participate. They range from reading Tarot Cards to belly dancing workshops; from practicing with precious crystals to raising Bardic energy! Please come and join any of these, no matter if you have no clue about the topic, or if you are a seasoned professional….we want your input!
Gaia’s Knot is not a private coven, although friendships and relationships made within Gaia’s Knot may eventually stem to this. What we are trying to do is to create a safe and welcoming environment for pagans to meet, learn, and share. Again, there is NO commitment that you need to make to attend, except the promise that you will come with an open mind and an accepting heart. So next time you sit down to grab one of your favorite books from your widely arrayed pagan bookshelf, think twice. Throw it in a bag, jump in the car, and bring it with you to the next Gaia’s Knot meeting! We are waiting to meet you! Blessed Be!!
