Group Overview: Lake Area Pagan Society, was founded September 2009, it is for all Pagan's in Lake County Indiana, and the sounding area's. We developed this group to help bridge the gap between covens, teachers, solitaires, eclectics, and individuals that aren't sure. We do not discriminate against any belief system, we welcome all be they Witch, Wiccan, Druid, Santerian, Voodun, or any other path. We are a social/Service group and hope to soon be able to start hosting events as well as organize a Pagan Pantry and Pagan Exchange, where those in need can reach out for support. We do not tolerate intolerance and will not be partied to any "witch Wars". We wish to create a safe and accepting environment for all Pagan and Pagan Friendly people and hope to do so with the support of our members.
As I'm sure many of you who are familiar with the Lake County area know there has been a sad lack in community for the Pagans of the Region for a very long time, this is unfortunate since many of our local Pagans are from the Lake County Indiana area. Help us help you, help us serve you, and help our fellow Pagan Sisters and Brothers, Mothers, Maidens, and Crones. We can only be as strong as our members, it is important to make an effort to assist the next generation of pagans and set an example of community.
